On Spiritual Maturity

(from the Starsinger files)

The many versions of Christianity commonly teach that we are children of God. For many generations this has been understood as little children, children needing discipline and a firm set of rules. This teaching was often accompanied by a list of punishments for infractions of those rules. Pastors and priests were appointed or appointed themselves to be the disciplinary voice in the lives of their congregations. These voices were particularly potent when children were exposed to religion from very early in life, for the voices of the church leaders became the voices of the parents, and, in turn, of conscience.

To be a child means that we are designed to grow into adult stature, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Astrology’s cyclic patterns affirm this. They also suggest that we mature over many lifetimes, both individually and as a species. Thus, over centuries, and even more over ages, humanity grows up into the potential implied by being the offspring of Deity. The various sign placements in a natal chart can be taken as descriptive of the developmental (evolutionary) state of the various planetary components of being. This shows that not all parts evolve at the same rate. This can be seen in the fact that some people are better at some things and others are better at others.

From another point of view, many belief systems teach that Earth is a school, a place where we learn our lessons–and all too often the phrase carries a negative overtone which implies that we are all slow or resistant students. And yet, if we are inherently divine, as implied by the statement above, how can that be? Realistically, whatever errors we make have one of two sources.

The first difficulty that we face is that we are spiritual in nature, but are (temporarily) living in a physical form. We are, by nature, unaccustomed to dealing with time, space, and gravity. Only trial and error will resolve this lack of experience. In time we learn how to live successfully in a body and on Earth. It is a phase of spiritual self-awareness and undertaken because this environment is conducive to the growth of self awareness.

The second problem is inherent in the nature of consciousness which is, of necessity, dual. As physical children we are educated by physical adults, who can only teach us what worked (or did not work) for them in their time and space. However, because evolution is continuous on many levels, their time and space differs from our time and space. If adults recognize that, and qualify their teachings as mere starting places for our personal and individual journeys life may proceed with a minimum of bumps and bruises.

However, if our teachers hold to absolute truths and rigid beliefs, and if these are entrenched with abusive force, we may struggle long and hard to find our own path. For these, intense periods of transformation are required as we learn to let go the old, obsolete conditioning. Again, this is true both individually and as a species. For individuals this can require most of a lifetime, or occasionally several incarnations. For humanity it may require most of a century or even an age.

The great lesson that many of you face is one of self awareness. So many have believed that meant discovering what was wrong and making corrections. We say to you that, by and large, the greater lesson is the discovery of what is right with you, of accepting your own wisdom and power.

The vast majority of you have arrived on Earth ahead of your times. Even as some physical children mature faster than others, so also some divine children mature faster than others. They move through the Earth-school faster and graduate early. Now, out of your love and your wisdom, you have returned to Earth to assist your younger siblings to make the transition into the higher consciousness range of the Age of Aquarius.

Today, the world is in transition, as we near the end of the Age of Pisces. The notion that we are, spiritually little children is still overwhelmingly predominant in the general consciousness. Those coming in as Possibility People are saturated with it early in life, so they grow up with at least some of the old beliefs about sin and punishment–some conscious, some unconscious.

Consider this: A small child is told “no” often, for there is much in the world which can be dangerous to him. An older child has fewer “no” commands, because s/he is learning to take increasingly more responsibility for herself. As time passes, each person is expected to need fewer and fewer “thou shalt not” commands.

If the physical pattern is an image of the spiritual pattern–and it is–then the time should/will/does come when we are expected to make our own decisions about what is right and what is wrong for us. It is time to realize that there is no absolute morality, for times, places and circumstances all affect what is right to do. Our only moral mandate is to use our own minds, to analyze as necessary and figure out what is the right thing for us to do/be/have/become. It really is, up to us.

We are given an innate tool of assessment. We call it joy. If our decisions, actions, methods, etc. bring joy we have chosen the right path. Joy is the most energy producing emotion in existence, and when we allow it to power our lives we are on the upward path. If you are in a job or a relationship that is not enjoyable, it is a job or relationship that has become obsolete in terms of your spiritual well-being.

One of the great difficulties that many face today is a belief that love is dictated by biology. By this we refer to the commonly held belief that all parents, especially all mothers, automatically love their children. This includes the corollary notion that all children do/can/should love their parents. Far too many of us spend years believing that there is something wrong with us when all the evidence shows that one (occasionally both) parents, one or more of our siblings or our children, do not love us.

It is common practice for people to try to pull their more loving, more intelligent, or simply more successful relatives and neighbors down, rather than putting out the effort required to lift themselves up. All too often, we allow ourselves to remain the targets for the ill-will or jealousy of others. We may waste energy feeling guilty for years, without ever noticing that these people clearly do not value us. Still, we go on living through painful experience as we present a living lesson/example of the direction that evolution is and should be taking. At some point, we must face the truth and refuse to be a target for any other person’s ill will.

The second part of that truth is that each of us is valued by many people—just not by those we expected to do so. Doing this can raise our self-worth exponentially, and with it, our financial supply.

One facet of this requires us to allow others to deal with the consequences of their own actions. All too often, what inhibits our financial success is one or more people who constantly need us. What we are then required to learn is that it is not love to enable weakness. A good teacher or parent is the one who encourages independence in others, and who refuses to reward immature behavior. Dependant adults are immature adults and most definitely not your responsibility–even if you share DNA!

We would challenge each of you to be courageous enough to cut off your parasitical relationships. Most of us have them early in life. For so long as they are allowed to hang on, draining our time, energy and resources, we cannot move fully into our own incarnational intention, our mission, our calling. This is not always easy to do, and may require us to run away and leave no forwarding address. (If your life, or your identity is in danger the only rational thing to do is RUN! Let no one tell you otherwise!)

For those familiar with the Bible, I would remind you that Jesus said, “a prophet is without honor in his own country.” (Many of you are prophets of one kind or another.) He also told one who asked to be allowed to bury his parents first, to let the dead bury their dead. This is generally interpreted to mean that those who are called to follow Spirit are required to leave the past and its duties behind, to follow Spirit into the future.

Looking at it astrologically: These are the core issues of nearly every transit by the outer planets. Most obvious are the spontaneous breaks associated with Uranus and the absolute necessity of letting-go when Pluto transits. Neptune can be easier in some ways, but also confusing because, at some point, you may realize that something has been forgotten while your attention was elsewhere, and being forgotten it seems to evaporate.

Each of these transits/experiences is involved as we move upward to ever higher levels of consciousness, to ever expanding awareness. There is a scientific law that says that all of life is in motion. Spiritualists call this vibration. The reality is that human senses only register those things or people who are functioning at a similar frequency, vibration, atomic motion. Thus as our level of awareness rises, some people and some things drop out of view–to a point where we cannot see or be seen by them. Then as we settle into the next level, new people, new experience emerges. We become more comfortable and life moves more easily.

Life is on an upward spiral. At times effort is required to overcome the past. Still, we press onward. Possibility People, are the living example of this. We are, each of us, a blessing and each is blessed. So be it.

Retrograde Venus

Venus retrogrades from July 27, 2007 to September 08, 2007. This can be an important time for those seeking greater self-awareness. It is a time for re-evaluation.

We take note of this placement because it is a relatively uncommon one. Venus remains direct for all but six weeks out of every eighteen months. These retrograde periods are best used as times of re-evaluation related to the signs being transited and/or periods for examining and revising our own value systems. At such times it will be important to notice that what is valuable to an infant, a child, an adolescent, may be of little worth to an adult. Values and value systems are intended to remain alive–to change and grow, even as we mature and evolve.

Venus’ symbolism is often poorly understood. It is commonly called the planet of Love, but love is also widely misunderstood and overshadowed by romanticism. Romantic literature, and especially the movie industry, have taught millions to expect something never meant to be more than an entertaining ideal, to manifest in their daily lives. The misunderstanding is the product of romance literature which is designed to take us away from reality and give us a break, a rest, from daily life. The romantic notion of chemistry is more closely related to the Moon and our feelings of need than it is to Venus. This expectation of happily-ever-after has caused great emotional pain to many. While it would seem that we should be able to learn from joy, the truth is that, at our current evolutionary level, most learning is accompanied by growing pains.

In its purest sense, to love is to value. We value those things and people that add comfort and pleasure to our lives–things that look good, feel good, taste good, etc. As the planet of love, Venus describes our natural sense of what is good for/to us. The energy involved in this is magnetism, so Venus will–when our value systems are clear–naturally attract that which is best for us to have.

Personal Venus

Natal Venus describes our inherent sense of values, including our feeling of worthiness or unworthiness. Some of us have primarily physical/earth values, others have primarily emotional/water values, mental/spacial/air values, or spiritual/fire values. Venus’ natal sign is selected according to the overall design of the current lifetime, to support our incarnational intent.

Natal Venus is not about what we have been taught to think that we should value, or what was valuable to our parents, priests or teachers. It is a purely personal description of what best contributes to the comfort and pleasure of our true (spiritual) nature. Astrology students may find it quite interesting to compare natal Venus to the natal second house of learned values.

When natal Venus is retrograde, we may feel unloved or devalued. This drives many to pay a high price in service to others, from the intent that others should not feel so unloved and alone as we do. The final lesson is to realize that we are loved and valued by many–just not the people generally expected to love us.

The Generic Venus Transit

The retrograde begins at two degrees Virgo, starting the reevaluation of Virgo. Venus in Virgo is often uncomfortable, for it tends toward emotional fastidiousness, sometimes fearing to touch that which might prove most valuable to her. She wants to sanitize and purify love, to love perfectly. If s/he does not realize her own inner perfection, she may think that she needs to handle attractions with great care. Given the old standards of belief about both Venus and Virgo, there could be no better place to begin a reevaluation. Love and values do require attention and sometimes effort, but they should never be such hard work as Virgo sometimes makes them.

The underlying truth of this placement is that it signifies perfect love. Virgo Venus instinctively knows what is of real value to her true nature and path. The problem lies in the fact that her true and perfect path is sufficiently different from the one taught by parents, religion, or other teachers, to make different things, different relationships, truly valuable/Venus and useful/Virgo. Virgo Venus must purify her value system, excluding all faux-values that are attached to terms like guilt and duty.

On August 10, 2007, Venus drops Virgo and backs into the more-playful and child-like sign of Leo. Leo relates to a developmental stage common to children. During this period, children practice adulthood by playing lets-pretend games. Such lets pretend games are closely related to the romantic games that adult playmates indulge in. The realization needed is that most of the romance is mere pretense. Each person pretends to be what he or she thinks that the other wants them to be. But if the relationship continues over time, or evolves into commitment, the ability to continue pretending to be Prince Charming or Lady Love diminishes, fading to nothing. The only real solution is to spend enough time together, being true and honest, to discover what each has to contribute to the comfort and pleasure of the other. An honest evaluation is the key to lasting union.

Something similar often happens in other areas, especially financial ones. All too often an immature sense of finances carries over into our adult lives. Some try to put on a show of affluence that cannot be maintained. Others work entirely too hard at maintaining a standard of living that has no real relevance to their true being.

The great gift of Leo Venus is innocence, for Leo is intended to remind us that we are good girls and boys. It tells us that we are innocent, the beloved sons and daughters of Deity. It reminds us that, by virtue of our spiritual DNA, we are uncondemned–perfect, whole and complete. Physical parents are sometimes abusive, but spiritual parents never are!

Venus will continue in Leo, backing down to the sixteenth degree, where it stations and turns direct on September 8, 2007. If all goes well, Venus will act on the new awareness gained as she again crosses the second half of Leo and re-enters Virgo on October 9, 2007. With a bit of luck, or wisdom, by then we will have reclaimed enough innocence to realize that we are–one and all–the perfect us, and that we love perfectly. If this be so, the continuing transit of Virgo may hand us many good things!

Leo

Leo is the sign which most clearly expresses the essential qualities of the Sun. In Leo, the activating principle is radiation expressed as creativity. We inherit creativity from our Creator-Father.

Always visible, Leo factors are dramatic and play a starring role. They are where our Spiritual Self expresses as inherent talent. They naturally radiate energy into the environment, lighting things up.

Other meanings of Leo are metaphors derived from the idea of its being active; i.e., an act can be a performance or a role, from which it gets the idea of drama or being dramatic. A drama is a play, so Leo rules play, especially the "lets pretend" variety that allows us to try out new roles in development or in life. Personal planets in Leo will act their way through.

Being Sun-ruled, Leo is bright, a star. Being Sun-like also implies that one is a son or royal heir of the god and/or goddess. Leo has inherent abilities and talents, things it can do because it is born to do them. The Christian term "Son of God" is strongly linked to the sign Leo.

When childhood is less than optimal, Leos learn to use their acting ability as a survival tool. When their moral education also includes judgments against pretending to be something not essentially true, natives may live in a great deal of pain. This can lead to addiction, or other illness. It is so important that these understand that all talents are given for use and that Deity makes no judgments on them. Neither should we. If you have acting talent, and it works for you in any way, use it. Then say thanks to the One who gave it to you.

The real gift of Leo is the ability to command life with the expectation that it will obey--not because the ability has been learned or the right earned, but because it is inherited or inherent, as a talent or a legal right. Leos create most easily by acting as if, especially as if they had a right to expect what they want and need. They do.

Natives can also become more or less visible by visualizing themselves as having and using a rheostat to control the level of brilliance. And yes, Leos are brilliant, at least in some areas. They perform well. In the houses containing Leo, especially on the cusp, they may need to consciously play a role. The house activity is something that they can do most easily by pretending to be what is needed to make both the ego-drama and the life role work.

Planets in Leo

Leo planets are highly creative, playing a significant role in our lives. They will dramatize according to the nature of the planet, making those planets highly visible.
EXAMPLES: Leo Saturn will have highly visible boundaries. Jupiter will show brilliance at figuring things out. Venus may be artistic brilliance.

Leo planets are active, and expressive, according to their nature--meaning the quality or quantity or activity of the planet. This is like saying that the light will be blue or green, bright or pale, or that the warmth will be within a certain temperature range or that it will be constant, recurring, and/or cyclic.

You may then expect planets or points in Leo to be highly visible, to attract attention from aware beings--both those who love the light and warmth and those who hate it. Therefore, the Leo area of the chart will be active, simply because it is hard to hide or forget. It attracts certain reactions from others. However, if you understand it as an area of talent, and one where you can be--and have the right to be--an actor or actress, you will learn to temporarily assume roles that will not threaten less evolved audiences.

Cancer

It is impossible to predict, from the birth chart, exactly how planets, points, and houses in Cancer will turn out. This is the energy of beginnings, the place and/or signature of birth and infancy. Anything in Cancer will grow, rapidly and a lot--provided you give it a reasonable amount of attention and care. Examine every chart to see where self-nurture needs to be applied. Sometimes our greatest potentials are neglected.

EXAMPLE: We have been taught that anything in the seventh house is not-me. In the twelfth it may be forgotten, etc. Cancer on those houses shows something that needs attention, needs to be noticed and nurtured.

Cancer is also the sign of emergence, from the womb or from the soil, into the light. It is where Spirit and Soul unite to become a living, growing, needing, feeling, human being. It is where the incarnational journey emerges from the invisible to visible, from dark into light, from the unknown to the known. Like a newborn infant, it may cry for the loss of security represented by the womb. It must adapt to a new environment and begin the process of physical growth.

It has long been a custom to regard ourselves as a spirit, living in a body, as though spirit got itself trapped in something unlike itself. We can now understand that energy-containing particles cluster into formal structures. These structures remain in motion but that motion is not apparent to other structures with a matching rate of motion.

Cancer is like a baby. It needs attention. When it does not get it, it will hurt, and probably "cry." Crying is particularly associated with Cancer, but only as a means of getting needs met before the coming of language. Pain is a result of (perceived) need. Even as adults, if the pain is too great (particularly emotional pain), we often cry. Too much pain overwhelms the ability to think and throws us into a pre-verbal state where the natural response is to cry. Times of great stress may throw us into a state where tears are close to the surface. We feel that we are being punished or subjected to something uncomfortable that we do not understand . . . the same way that we felt as children with no control over our own lives.

If Cancer planets are hurting or crying, it will always be from lack of attention or care. If properly nurtured, they will be the happiest points in the chart, cooing and smiling as easily as a happy, content, infant. Cancer must not be ignored because it is primal and primary to our survival as what we are. We may survive without paying heed to it, but we will not truly LIVE.

Whatever is seeded in Aries, will be born in Cancer. It will reach visibility or be made manifest, WHEN it outgrows its womb, cradle or playpen. Cancer also refers to the family or nest, as it continues to surround, nurture, and support the growth of the child. At first the child is not conscious of separation from the mother. It will be much longer before it fully separates from the birth family.

Cancer may be considered close in space and feelings. Any point in Cancer is so close as to be not entirely separate from the sense of self.

Cancer and the Moon are most commonly used to refer to basic feelings: hunger, thirst, satisfaction, comfort, discomfort, pleasure, pain, etc. This area may also include the "muscular responses" to these feelings--or e-motions.

Above all else, Cancer refers to bonding and its effects. Too weak a bond gives poor feeling responses and injures your survival skills. Too strong a bond will make it difficult to separate from mother and/or family enough to mature. This is true whether her feelings are positive or negative. Either can affect how safe we feel and what makes us feel safe, at home, and comfortable. The quality of bonding will affect our ability to go out into the world of work and career and our adult relationships--especially in a home and family situation. If we learned that home or the world was not a safe place to be, it will color almost every aspect of our lives. Childhood is the foundation of adulthood and if the foundation is weak, what is built upon it will use a lot of energy just trying to stand.

The Cancer area of your chart is a place where you will always grow. It also says something about your need for security/safety. The house placement may show where you most seek security–as money in the second house or marriage in the seventh. It may define what you think that you need, as friends in the eleventh or control in the eighth. It may also be where you most obviously channel energy.

Above all, it is the most fluid area of the chart, where energy takes on the shape of the container and finds its own level of expression, according to your incarnational needs.

Gemini

Gemini is known as "The Twins" or the "Pillars of Hercules" and rightly so. The Gemini emphasis is upon the nature of duality and the logic system that it makes possible. Again this is twofold. We begin with the ability to sort out a particular sight, sound, smell, taste, and/or touch from the background level of objects, noises, odors, attractions, and/or skin contacts. We focus on the specific and we name it, thus beginning the process of building language skills to be used in thinking and communicating.

Time begins here. When we change focus, we create divisions in time. In the past we focused on one thing. In the present we focus on another, and in the future we will focus on still another. Ordinarily, Gemini refers to right now. While time and name are not obvious facets of Gemini, they can be factors--especially when working in the psychological aspects of astrology.

Gemini is the original sign of relationship, sometimes used generically. It is essentially horizontal, referring to a side-by-side relationship, an essential commonality, a twin, sibling, or peer. In certain contexts it can refer to an elementary class or student. Gemini shows our earliest clear sense that there is more than one being like us--especially more than one child in the family, the neighborhood. It is the basis for relating to ideas as they contrast to or compare with the information we have and/or people as like or not-like us. As we learn the names for different entities, then for facets or qualities of these entities, we build a data base with which to think.

Wherever Gemini is, there are two or more divisions in awareness, a double standard (be cautious about judgments here), sorting to be done or the appearance of a choice to be made. Be aware also that while logic sees this as two poles, the reality referred to is that of a visible and an invisible aspect to everything. Whenever we focus on one aspect of the Gemini-Mercury duality, we remove attention from the other.

The observations made in Gemini can become the judgements made in Libra. EXAMPLE: Gemini’s Light and Dark becomes Libra’s Good and Evil. When it does, the Venus rulership of Libra is shattered, leaving the asteroid belt in control. A critical double lesson to be learned from Mercury is that light refers to the visible, which is the current focus. Dark is simply whatever is invisible or out of sight, not currently in our focus.
REMEMBER THIS: All life begins in the dark . . . of the womb, of the soil. Duality is like two sides of a coin, with heads or tails turned upward and the other out of sight. The up side gets our attention. The attention adds substance/energy, giving it greater reality. In a world consciousness that gives preference to solid reality, there will be judgment attached. Half the duality will be regarded as in the light, visible, valuable. The other half will be regarded as in the dark, invisible, and valueless. The result is a judgment on the world of light and shadow that defines it as good and evil. -->>

Gemini language is the basic tool for logical calculations, thus may include a gift for numbers, generally as simple accounting. More complex accounting systems are linked to Virgo and calculation for meaning and conclusions are Sagittarian, but without Gemini, more advanced computations are impossible. On Gemini foundations rest all advances in thought.

Planets in Gemini

Planets in Gemini are conscious, visible. They need to be named properly. It will be important to see them as single units with twin facets--dual or multi-talented. If split apart, only half the information needed will be available and in that area of life. Something will feel torn in two. The great Gemini lesson is to exchange either-or for both-and.

Mankind, The Original Creation: Triune Being

From the Star Singer Chronicles as given to Rev. Alice Miller
THE STAR SINGER

My name is Star Singer.
My song is a melody of light
Dancing across black velvet sky.

Once blackness lay sleeping.
Deep within dreams stirred, rippled, kicked,
Infants in the Mother Womb.

Presently, diamond-pointed sparks
Fell from a distant star,
Tearing membrane, inducing labor.

Life seedlings, wakened by the light,
Stretched, reached, emerged,
Into seeing, awareness, enlightenment.

I sing worlds into being and becoming.
I sing life emerging, evolving, transforming.
My name is Star Singer.

Spirit

Out of the One Spirit emerged units of spirit-as-energy, similar in nature to light. These were like little offspring points of light. Like light they appeared as vibrational waves or as particles, depending on what the observer looked for.

Until someone looks for a particle of light (photon) there are only outward flowing ripples of energy. The act of focusing on these sparks arrests them and causes them to take shape and form. As each differentiates, it assumes identity, shape, and substance

Light is purposeful, always in motion, but it does not always move in straight lines. It will curve around obstacles in space, always seeking its goal of enlightenment or lighting up the darkness, revealing that which was previously unknown. Like light, Spirit is also in motion and has a particular goal or target, moving toward it purposefully. As necessary, it will go over, under or around obstacles to pour energy into the outlines of intent.

Each of us began life as just such a ray of spirit, with a specific incarnational intent. If it was not specifically in mind, it was instinctively inherent in being. At our origin, this spark was emitted from the Source Spirit. If that emergence began in time at all, it was so long ago as to seem beyond time. From our perspective, we have always existed. Out spiritual identities are eternal.

Like the universe, we begin with a statement or idea: “Let there be light,” or more accurately, “Let me see the light; let me be the light. Let it move out from me, that I may see it reflecting back to me.” The moment it is seen, it begins to contain particles/substance, and this begins to coalesce. All substance is magnetic/attractive, carrying a magnetic energy charge. Particles attract particles and begin to form ever larger constructs. They become atoms, molecules, and finally distinct forms–not yet solid, but diaphanous outlines–a prophecy of what is to come. At this point, the Spark of Spirit has become a Living Soul.

Soul

Soul is the first true human being, a light being with a conceptual link to radiant spirit. Soul is still rather loosely connected, held together only by magnetic attraction of shared purpose. Like attracts like, whether it be like substance, like intention or like awareness. Soul is then a portion, or a version of Spirit which purposes to incarnate on Earth.

As the human body is ninety-eight percent water, with very little substance, the human soul is about ninety-eight percent energy with about two percent substance. It is this which will inhabit a fetus, live a lifetime, and when its goal is complete, leave the body.

Historically, few have seen souls because they have not looked for them. They have existed as a ghost of a thought, a dream of being. Still, if we look intently into the surrounding light, we may perceive within that light, a kind of density. We may then become aware of the presence of that which, until then, was unseen. It is our focused awareness that makes it real, and our attention gives it solidity and substance. Like the light from which it came, it will react according to our perception of it as invisible energy or visible form.

A soul may lie in the womb of time, like an unborn fetus, slowly and meticulously drawing substance from the surrounding environment, increasing in form and visibility. As it becomes more visible, more identifiable, it acquires a sense of space as that which lies outside itself, but connected to it. Gradually, the same urge which initially caused it to differentiate as a spark or ray of light separate for its source, will cause it to differentiate as a unit of consciousness, separated from its universal source.

It will, then, begin to move, stretch, kick, within the womb of time and space. It will form a concept of self that is increasingly defined, real, solid. Its purpose will become conscious, moving from the realm of dream or vision into a defined idea, a clear concept. Only then, can it realize itself as a formed being with a clear identity.

With personification, comes the urge to know more, be more, do more, become more. Exploring its beingness, soul discovers its likeness to and differences from others, and its outlines solidify further. The desire to explore its reality, its limits, its potential forms, further solidifying its outlines.

Inherent in the souls make-up is the knowledge that only moving outward for greater perspective, can reveal the source from which we came. Only as humankind, can we know our God/dess.

We may then say that Spirit creates Soul and Soul creates body. Ever the essence of being is spirit. That which can transform itself from energy to matter may also reverse the process and, once again, return to energy. It is this which many of us have forgotten. If we have tired of physical reality, or if we have completed the purpose for which we incarnated, we may then turn our attention to discovering how we came to be the way we are and how we can return to our original state.

The process is just that, a process. It has an order of its own. and an inherent pattern of development which we must discover and master for ourselves. Achieving that mastery is the first long-term goal of life. Once we have entered the course, we must complete it.

It is this that many call karma, but that which is often overlooked about that is that if life is a school, we must surely graduate. If we are children of God, we are meant to grow into adulthood. We do that over many lifetimes, spent in a variety of times and places. And then, one day, we earn the right to choose whether we will incarnate again. Some will wish to pursue further studies. Some will wish to assist their younger spiritual siblings. And some will move one to other dimensions of time, space, or . . .

Body

All identities have a body. It may be a spiritual one, an astral/soul body, or a physical one. The body is what we think it is. Remember that it originates as light, or something that functions in the same way as light. It can function as a wave of purposeful energy, ghost or apparition, or a unit of physical substance. It will be as light or as heavy, as transparent, translucent or dense as we believe it to be. Here, we refer to the physical expression used on Earth. It is the structure used for growing consciousness to a state of perfection. We may also refer to awareness, which requires perception. At this stage of our development, without perception awareness cannot be. That which we have not perceived and experienced is not real to us. For us it does not exist. From this perspective, we seem not to have a spirit or soul until we look for one.

Human souls go through a long process of incarnation, largely as physical beings, on Earth and elsewhere. Early on, we will see only that which is solid, and, to us, real. During this period we may conclude that we have been cut off from our source. We will then look outward, seeking it.

The more dense and heavy we think that we are, the more dense and heavy will be those beings we attract to us. Like ever attracts like, beginning with thought. Even when we think we are looking for missing parts of ourselves in others, we will still attract those whose self-image is like our own. This is the original purpose of primary relationships. We look for self-awareness in the eyes of others, and when two commit to each other, at least one will discover that what s/he thought missing is present–tho perhaps on the (back) side that is normally unseen.

If we believe that we are sinners, condemned to lives of hard work and pain, we will attract those who agree with us, and it will be our reality. Often we, quite literally, curse existence on Earth, not by some conscious curse, but by our unconscious beliefs. We who were intended to be the light of the world become generators of darkness by our negation of joy and our fear of love. Still, it is only an error in judgement, and errors can be corrected. The time has come, when humanity is visibly maturing.

We are realizing that love refers to a magnetic attraction that is inherent in us. If we will not love that which we have, beginning with our own Spirit, Soul and Body, we will attract only that which we perceive to be unlovely and unlovable. When we criticize, judge, even hate, that which we have attracted, we can only attract more of the same. Doing so, our bodies and our lives become heavier, more burdensome. Without the light of truth, we wander in the darkness, and our belief that we are destined to do so becomes the boundary, the limit, on our lives.

But the truth will ever set us free. Let us reclaim our divine heritage, with its goodness, its wisdom, its creativity. Let us realize that we are not mere creations of our deity, but its literal sons and daughters. Let us envision the double strand of DNA has having one side physical and one side divine.

In the past, science has spoken of junk DNA. More recently, some have noticed that some of this, formerly dormant, DNA is lighting up. We are awakening to a greater reality. We are retrieving a larger portion of our potential as young gods and goddesses, growing up to be like our Divine Parent.

In the past, it has been said that we use only ten percent of our brain, but it is clear that children everywhere are expanding their awareness, making previously unknown areas conscious. We are evolving. We are becoming. We are moving from the divine childhood of the Age of Pisces, to divine adulthood in the Age of Aquarius. The song is not new, but the reality is.

Possibility People

May 30, 2007
This is a recurring theme, but spirit says to publish it again!

Part I

Before there were New Kids, there were Possibility People. Some were called Starseed or Light Workers, or by various other names. Most of them have natal charts (horoscopes) marked by interceptions, which actually indicate one born outside the general consciousness. Not what was expected by parents, cultures, etc., these were often criticized and encouraged to hide their true identity and abilities so as to fit-in. Many tried, only to find that it can never entirely be done. We simply marched to a different drum. Some of us were condemned as evil, others as crazy. We were neither.

If you are one of these, it is important that you know that you are differently designed for a very special purpose. Humanity is approaching a new age, a new general level of awareness. In essence, the intuitive-creative abilities are surfacing with more power than ever before. Humanity is being upgraded to new levels of consciousness, to a higher vibration.

However, humans, being human, often resist change. They will not try what they do not believe possible. Consequently, down through the ages, Possibility People came to earth to present new possibilities. In the 1930s and 40s there was a major influx, with a continuing flow into the 1970s when the New Kids began arriving in droves. Still without the Possibility People, it is doubtful whether these new human types could have survived. They needed to know that, at least a few people, would recognize and welcome them. We were the bridge, between the old humanity and the new humans. Let us rejoice in that.

Part II

If you are one of life’s misfits, never entirely comfortable in your birth family or with people in your age group, you may be a Possibility Person. If you can never figure out what you should keep and what to throw away–not just things, but sometimes relationships, jobs, etc., you may be a Possibility Person. If, as a child, you could never make sense of the beliefs of people close to you, or if you grew up in an environment where your actions did not bring dependable reactions, or where you could not figure out what you did to cause the things that happened to you, you are probably a Possibility Person.

We are the older children of our Deity, with a higher level of consciousness, a quicker vibratory level than the general population. Most of us can understand others, but they do not understand us. We run on a different frequency, with broad-band abilities which allow us to integrate the old with the new.

Our parents often had no notion of whom or what we were, no idea about what to do with us. They could not know what we really needed. Many of us were, to a large extent, our own parents.

The good news is that we are more creative, wiser and/or generally more gifted than those around us. We can have a sense of accomplishment, knowing that we will leave the Earth a better place than we found it. Relatively unconscious early in life, our strengths, our personal power, our wisdom and authority emerge later in life–seldom before age thirty, often not before age forty, and sometimes not until age fifty or more. Prior to then, our strengths and abilities may show up in times of crises, only to retreat again At some point in life, we begin noticing that we do, indeed, have abilities that we have ignored or denied. Gradually we can learn that anything that we can do when we have no time to think, we can also do with intent. Realizing that, we are empowered to change our lives. In so doing, we set an example for others. We demonstrate new possibilities, new ways of being and doing for the next age.

Because we were born outside the general consciousness, at some point we must choose to live there. We must be willing to live outside the patterns taught us by our elders. Doing so, we incur criticism and condemnation. Many of us wonder whether something is wrong with us.

The big problem is that, being ahead of our times, parental teachings were, for us, obsolete. To some extent we are all pioneers, leading the way into unchartered lands of spirit and consciousness. Some will follow. Others will try to stop progress. That is the human way....in the Age of Pisces.

In the final analysis, our greatest effect is not so much what we do, as how we do it. Our greatest teachings and healings, and the light that we carry, shine through the way we live our lives. Each of us is, in some way, the living example of what humanity is meant to become.

Such lives can be lonely. Often few of our relatives or peers understand us. We may encounter resistance in our relationships and careers because others are often fearful or jealous of the power that they sense in us. Still we are finding each other, gathering to support each other. Even as we experience deeper sadness than others, so also are we capable of greater joy. When we learn to live as we were meant to do, without self-judgment or criticism, we can know that it was worth the effort, worth the struggle.

Our message to you is: There is nothing wrong with you. It is that which is most right that attracts such attention. We are the light-bearers, the teachers, the healers who are engaged in bringing in the Age of Aquarius. We are the Possibility People, showing others what is now possible to all humanity. We are the future. We are what humanity is intended to become. We are also the (Violet) forerunners of the Indigo and Crystal Children.

The next age will represent a new median level in human consciousness. All of us are involved in the transition from this age to the next. Humanity will not try out the new powers available to it, if it cannot believe it is possible to do so. Consequently, we have been showing them that certain abilities, long deemed impossible are indeed possible to modern men, women, and especially children.

For students of astrology, two books on horoscope markers of Possibility People are available from www.lifeprintastrology.com. Written by Rev. Alice Miller, Heralds of a New Age: Interceptions delineates the interception of signs and the resulting doubled house cusps. Possibilities for a New Age: Intercepted Planets delineates eleven planets, the Nodal Axis and Part of Fortune when they fall within an intercepted sign
